Krishnaswamy Subramaniam (KS) National Robotic Surgery Video Awards for the Best Robotic Surgery Video
The Vattikuti Foundation is pleased to announce 2019 KS National Robotic Surgery Video Awards. Three Prizes worth of INR 100,000, 50,000 and 25,000 would be awarded for First, Second and Third Prizes, respectively. The Awards competition is open to all Indian robotic surgeons. The subject material of your video shall be on an aspect of robotic surgery. Any specialty is welcome. This is a nationwide contest, open to all Indian Robotic Surgeons / Fellows / Residents.

Dr. Mahendra Bhandari, CEO of the Vattikuti Foundation is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the Vattikuti International Outcomes Research Fellowship in Urology, to be held at the Vattikuti Urology Institute (VUI) in Detroit, Michigan. The VUI, home to the first robotic surgery program in the world, has produced many "firsts" in the science of Robotic Surgery. The original announcement was only partially successful in generating applications, and due to other circumstances this Fellowship was put on hold until now.

The Vattikuti Foundation is pleased to offer a limited number of Vattikuti Scholarships for current Residents and Fellows interested in furthering their careers in Robotic Surgery. Scholarships will be to attend the upcoming Robotic Surgeons Council of India meetings November 16 & 17, 2019 at the Le Pondy Beach Resort, Pondicherry.
The Scholarships will be granted on a merit-based system.
Applicants must be within one year of their MCH or DNB in a surgical speciality using robotics.

The Vattikuti Foundation email 'box' is filling with messages from the joint replacement surgeons who recently attanded the very first meeting of the Joint Replacement Surgeons Council of India. The meeting on May 25th hosted some of India's to joint replacement surgeons, and featured several Indian surgeons, plus American Surgeon Dr. Thomas Coon, who delivered the Kaynote.
