Dr. Mahendra Bhandari, CEO of the Vattikuti Foundation is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the Vattikuti International Outcomes Research Fellowship in Urology, to be held at the Vattikuti Urology Institute (VUI) in Detroit, Michigan. The VUI, home to the first robotic surgery program in the world, has produced many "firsts" in the science of Robotic Surgery. The original announcement was only partially successful in generating applications, and due to other circumstances this Fellowship was put on hold until now.

The Vattikuti Foundation is pleased to offer a limited number of Vattikuti Scholarships for current Residents and Fellows interested in furthering their careers in Robotic Surgery. Scholarships will be to attend the upcoming Robotic Surgeons Council of India meetings November 16 & 17, 2019 at the Le Pondy Beach Resort, Pondicherry.
The Scholarships will be granted on a merit-based system.
Applicants must be within one year of their MCH or DNB in a surgical speciality using robotics.

Dr. Mahendra Bhandari, Vattikuti Foundation CEO, has been invited to present the Keynote at the Ignite to Innovate Global Health Conference in Detroit on April 25th. His topic is called: The Disambiguation Creativity Innovation Paradigm.
The two-day conference will showcase the global health work by Children's Hospital of Michigan faculty and fellows and their contributions towards training, research and advocacy programs that increase capacity and ensure positive health and development outcomes in the sites where they have worked.
